Community Health Centers of Southern Iowa is the only Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the state of Iowa that has also been designated as a Community Mental Health Center (CMHC).

This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n).
